How To Take Down A Country & Garden Bell Tent

Please try to sweep out as much debris as is possible before dismantling the tent.

Remove any items from the internal pockets.

Remove any other articles.

Zip up all the windows.

Zip up the groundsheet if it was unzipped during your camp.
Un-tie the A-fame .

With someone inside the tent, holding the pole.
Undo the guy lines, removing pegs from the ground as you go round.
Sometimes these can be hard to remove. The easiest way is to use a spare peg as a lever.
ut them in the peg bag.
Don't worry about tying the guy lines up, we'll do it back at base.

Unscrew the rain cap from outside, on the top of the A-frame.
Un-joint, one of the A-frame legs.
Manoeuvre the A-frame outside, fold it up and put it in the pole bag.
lay it aside where you wont trip over it.

You should be able to lift the central pole enough to manoeuvre it out from the tent.

Fold it up and pop it in the pole bag with the rubber ends attached.

Please remove your shoes
Zip up the door.

Pull the top centre circle of the tent towards the middle, to make the tent as flat as possible before folding up.

Remove the SMALL pegs.

Count them up, 14 small pegs

Fold the tent in half.

Pull over a bit more than half way and fold back onto itself

Check the width of your tent.
i.e. will it fit in the bag?

Time to roll as tightly as you can.

It should fit in the bag.
Place the bag over the top and manoeuvre down over the rolled up tent.
